The Abhidharma Pitaka is a collection of texts developed by the Early Buddhist schools that present the teachings on Abhidharma, or higher knowledge.
Each of the early Buddhist schools developed there own versions of the Abhidharma Pitaka. The pitakas from some of the early schools were subsequently incorporated into the major Buddhist Canons. See:
