Jamgön Mipham Rinpoche

Khenjuk (T. mkhas 'jug མཁས་འཇུག་), or Gateway to Knowledge. An encyclopedic treatise composed by Mipham Rinpoche at the turn of the twentieth century.

This text presents the major topics of the three pitakas in condensed form.[1] It presents the Abhidharma from both a Hinayana and Mahayana point of view, as well as the basics of prajnaparamita and Madhyamaka philosophy.[1]

This text is often one of the first texts to be taught in the shedras ("study colleges") of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism.

This text has been translated into English by Erik Pema Kunsang, in a four-volume set entitled "Gateway to Knowledge".

(For the text of the same name composed by Sakya Pandita, see Sapan Khenjuk.)
