Gelong Thubten is a Buddhist monk, who trained at Kagyu Samye Ling, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Scotland. He has spent over six years in intensive meditation retreats, the longest of which was 4 years, and he has trained with several teachers. Thubten specialises in teaching mindfulness meditation internationally, in businesses, hospitals, schools, universities, prisons and addiction counselling centres. He works with major clients such as Google, LinkedIn, Lloyds Bank, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Siemens, Accenture, the NHS and Clifford Chance. He is the author of A Monk's Guide to Happiness.
In his lectures, he speaks of his personal experience of coping with with severe anxiety and depression.
