Template talk:En-WP-Attrib

From Encyclopedia of Buddhism

I have removed the second last line {{documentation}} as it doesn't work, says script error though the template exists.

This is a copy of https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:En-WP_attribution_notice&action=edit

I've also replaced the wp: by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki and converted it to an external link format [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/{{{1|{{FULLPAGENAME}}}}} {{{1|{{FULLPAGENAME}}}}}]

Just add the template with no parameters to the page to attribute the same named page in wikipedia:

To attribute a page on wikipedia which is named differently from the page here, you need to supply the title as: {{En-WP-Attrib|original page name}}

{{En-WP-Attrib|Pāli Canon}}

(previous issue with underlines is now fixed by @Dorje108:, see this talk page history for the original issue). Robert Walker (talk) 22:57, 17 January 2018 (CST)

For the future

A different template would be needed to attribute an earlier rather than current version of the page, for pages like Four Noble Truths that are forked off from a version of the wikipedia page from several years ago.
