ḍāka (T. mkha' 'gro མཁའ་འགྲོ།; "sky-goer"). The male equivalent to a ḍākinī. The term can refer to a mundane class of supernatural beings and to a class of Buddhist deities.[1][2][3]

The literal Tibetan translation of this term, khandro (mkha’ ’gro), is often used to refer to the female form of "sky-goers", i.e., ḍākinī.[1][3] A common alternate Tibetan translation for ḍāka is pawo (དཔའ་བོ; "hero).[1][4]
