Romanization. To write or print (something, such as a language) in the Latin alphabet.[1]

This commonly refers to the conversion of text from a different writing system to the Latin script (a.k.a "Roman script"), or a system for doing so.

Methods of romanization include transliteration, for representing written text, and transcription, for representing the spoken word, and combinations of both.
