Palden Lhamo (Skt. Śrīdēvī; T. dpal ldan lha mo དཔལ་ལྡན་ལྷ་མོ་). The Tibetan name for a tantric deity who is one of the main dharmapalas of Tibetan Buddhism and of Tibet. Palden Lhamo is one of the main principal female wisdom protectors of Himalayan and Tibetan Buddhism.

Within the Gelugpa school, she is strongly associated with the incarnation lineages of the Dalai Lama and with the Panchen Lama.

Palden Lhamo is also associated with the Lhamo La-tso lake, in Dakpo. Over the years, many of the Dalai Lamas and their regents went to practise around this lake in order to receive visions and indications.
